Kallio hasn't traditionally been exactly a vintage heaven, but maybe things are slowly changing. One example of this is Frida marina, a vintage shop and flea market in Kaarlenkatu, Kallio.
Frida marina specialises in vintage clothes and accessories from the 50s to the 80s, mostly in really good condition, and Finnish vintage is well represented. The clothes are so delightful and the shop so wonderfully decorated that I would always like to try on everything! While shopping, you can take a pause and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea. While going through all the beautiful dresses and shoes, a little pause is definitely needed.
Also located in the same space is Pieni sydän Second hand store, selling beautiful second hand and vintage clothes and accessories, and also VSE HKI selling antique and vintage artifacts and jewellery. The selection of the three shops is so extensive, that it takes a while to go through it all, especially when you really want to try on and touch everything!
