Roobertin Herkku is a perfect candy store: it's beautifully decorated, has a great selection of candies and has passionate owners. And it has a great story behind it as well: the owners' grandmother used to own a similarly named store nearby, which also had a great selection of candies and goods. Her grandchildren remember the store and the joy of it from their childhood, so they decided to continue and honor her legacy and found a new store in the style of the original one in Viiskulma.
The store is so beautifully decorated that you feel satisfied already by looking at it, eye candy indeed, and at the same time you want to buy everything in there. Personally, the stores reminds me of the candy store in the old Swedish Pippi Longstockings television series, which is pretty much my ideal of a candy store.
And the selections really is great ranging from candy classics to more recent and exotic treats and of course featuring a great section of the loved and feared Finnish classic, salmiakki!
