Quality burgers is something that has been missing in Kallio's restaurant scene. Luckily, the situation is changing and Kallio is getting more and more versatile restaurant-wise.

Social Food Burger Joint is situated in Sörnäinen, or Kurvi as it is called by locals, downhill from the street of Hämeentie. The place is small but cosy and the decoration is cool. The restaurant has an actual coal grill, so you can really smell the burgers being prepared, and the place has a nice, smoky feel to it.

Social Food Burger Joint has a short menu, including few meat hamburgers and vegetarian and vegan versions, and french fries of course. As a vegetarian I'm very happy to be able to choose even at a burger place!

Social Food Burger Joint is a good option if you're looking for a lunch or a dinner place in Kallio, but it is also worth checking even if Kallio is an unfamiliar neighborhood for you. You can find Social Burger joint also in the city center.
