Have you ever thought of the fun fact of Istanbul that it is possible to have breakfast on one continent and dinner on the other? :)
If yes, the other fun fact is that the red tram journey continues on the Asian side too. I've already written an article for the European tram, the Taksim-Tunel Tramway (T2 line). But I forgot to mention that Istanbul has two historic trams. Now it’s time for The Asian side, the Kadıköy-Moda Tramway (T3 line).
Moda is at a point where transportation is very easy after arriving in Kadıköy. And you can easily reach Kadıköy Pier by ferry from the European Side. As Moda is ranked as the coolest neighborhood on the Time Out Magazine list, I need to write an article about its bohemian vibe, colorful street art, and picturesque waterfront views.
Kadıköy-Moda Tramway operates as a clockwise circular route, departs from a point close to Kadıköy Pier, and goes to Moda Street through a small side street. You can visit most of the places in Moda by this vintage red tram, which is a must-do activity.
Starting passenger service in November 2003, the Kadıköy-Moda Tram Line has 11 stations within a length of 2.6 km. I know it is very short but worth it.
Practical details;
Enjoy the ride. :)
