You are in İstanbul and strolling through the streets and all of a sudden you feel hungry. Instead of trying to find a place to eat just look for the red mobile stall as pictured.
This is a "simit" stand. Simit is one of the most traditional, delicious street food of Turkey. It's basically twisted with sesame topping, baked pastry. It's crunchy and fabulous to eat. If it's hot (right off the bakery) then you are in for a real treat.
If hungry, there is nothing to say but to stop at the closest simit trolley stand and grab yourself one. It costs (at the moment) 75 Kurus (100 Kurus = 1 Turkish Lira which basically is less than 50 cent) and very much worth the price.
