The classic Istanbul touristic cliché of “the city spanning two continents” becomes real when you start walking along the Moda Seaside. It starts from the Kadıköy IDO Ferry Station and goes up to Moda Pier.

Unlike the European side, Moda seaside is a quiet haven where locals walk down toward the seaside to have some snacks on the grass. Especially young people choose the seaside to relax, socialize and enjoy the open air. Generally we take our drinks (beers etc.) and snacks from the market and enjoy the view and chat. There are also youngsters playing guitar and acrobatic games.

There is an almost 2 km-long walkway and bicycle way available, which is also a good place to work out. At the and of the pedestrian way, you need to climb some stairs to reach a very old tea house. You can have a cup of fresh Turkish tea and breathe in the wonderful city view.
