Let's dream of a small & cozy restaurant in Istanbul, where the chef is Italian and the food quality competes with the one in Naples.
Napoli Gourmet is that dream, located in Tesvikiye, a very cool neighborhood next to Nisantasi, with Italian-themed pictures on the walls and checkered tablecloths on the tables. Despite not being a big place, Napoli Gourmet makes up for it with the food quality, selective wines, excellent value for money, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
The first thing you will be amazed by when you settle at your table will be the waitstaff greeting you with a complimentary drink. A thoughtful gesture that puts a smile on your face and incredible flavors on your tongue. Fantastica. :)
The chef - Enzo Filippo Paglini - shows off his skills with every traditional dish, from the incredible pizza & pasta choices to mindblowing tiramisu. And I highly recommend trying their burrata as a starter. Deliziosa. :)
Last but not least, the waitstaff is truly friendly and helpful, ensuring that your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. A very warm service. Bellissima. :)
And if you choose to come here on your birthday, prepare for a celebrity moment. As the waitstaff brings out your cake with candles and birthday music, suddenly, the entire restaurant starts clapping and cheering for you.
Napoli Gourmet is a gem of a restaurant that could easily transport you to the streets of Naples. If you're looking for a nice Italian dining experience in Istanbul, look no further.
