Pardon Boulangerie has recently opened its branch in Rumelihisarı in an old mansion by the sea. Even though quite new to the town, it attracts many visitors thanks to its view and delicacies.
The most desired seats are located on its tiny balcony on the top floor as it offers the best view, but unfortunately, there is only room for two small tables. The interior has a cozy yet chic design. The corners seem to be designed to attract book lovers in the quiet hours. I'd imagine this could also be a really good place to work from on the weekdays when it is not very crowded. There is also a larger outdoor space on the ground floor as well.
The first thing that welcomes you at Pardon is the gorgeous display of pastries, both sweet and savory, and the warm attitude of its staff. If you prefer not to use the lift for the upper floors, you can feel like you are home by the smell of the baked goods on the second floor. I should admit that I have never used the lift because of this, even though I had to go up and down a few times to order as it is self-service. I have not tried the sandwiches yet, but they are also popular among the visitors and smell great as the bread is also baked in-house.
