Enjoying the Bosphorus view is never enough. Ulus Park, which is just a couple of minutes of uphill driving from Ortaköy provides a wonderful view of the Bosphorus. The park also offers a pathway to walk and take pictures.
There is also a cafe in the park which is situated just up the cliff. While having your drinks or meal, you can enjoy the view. The cafe does not offer exceptional food but with this view every type of food can taste great. You can try some basic dishes which will not steer you wrong.
When you walk down the pathway inside the park, there is one of the fanciest restaurants in Istanbul; Sunset. This place is mainly famous for casual dinners and the club scene afterwards. It is fairly expensive, but serves high end food. Lamb and duck dishes create a difference.
I think it is a must do in Istanbul just to rest and take some good panoramic pictures to take back home. Best time to be there is just before sunset. You can enjoy the day view, sunset and evening view and enjoy the lights of the Bosphorus Bridge and Anatolian Side.
