If I find myself in the city center and I’m hungry I always choose between two places that are very close to each other (you just need to just walk on the other side of the street). If I’m not so hungry, I'll usually go to the pie shop -- check my Pie Shop Nikolay – Best pies in town article about it. However, if I’m hungry and also maybe in a mood for a glass of beer, I definitely prefer going to the True Burger Bar.
I've known this place for many years. With time they have changed their menu and selection of beers, but the quality and taste of the burgers still on a pretty good level. Each burger is served with French fries and coleslaw salad. That is more than enough to defeat hunger.
My favorite one always used to be the burger with mutton and blue cheese as an additional topping. But recently, they removed it from the menu :(. However, from the beers, they have variants of local small craft breweries and Kilkenny (Irish red ale, far less widespread in Kyiv that Guinness beer).
