A cup of coffee a day keeps the doctor away! You think I got it wrong... but I'm pretty sure the majority of Slovenians would agree that I got it exactly right. Just ask around - it's actually quite rare to find a person in Ljubljana who doesn't adore a cup of brewed dark brown heaven. Now when it comes to drinking it, our rituals might differ. I still prefer "Turkish coffee" so I mostly prepare it at home, since it's quite hard to find a place in Ljubljana that offers it. Cafetino, however, is a different story.
Since I know their selection, I also know your head WILL spin from it (the magnitude of choice can be overwhelming). So I am - as always - glad to fill you in on my favorites. My classic choice would be Yemen mocha since it's deliciously done by machine or the Turkish way (they will serve the later in a "Ä‘ezva" or as we would call the adorable little version of it "Ä‘ezvica"), but on a boring day, I would prefer to spice things up with their chili and choco version. No need to follow my lead though - just listen to your instincts... you can never go wrong in Cafetino.
Don't forget to notice the shop in the back of their cafe. They will grind the coffee beans according to your style of preparation so you can enjoy your pick at home.
