Formerly famous as one of South East London’s dodgy urban neighborhoods that most would be terrified to set foot in, Peckham is considered one of the coolest districts in the capital. Open since December 2017, the Peckham Levels complex is certainly worth exploring.
Seven levels of multi-story car parking space have been transformed into one creative hub of stylish bars, independent food pop-ups, yoga classes, hairdressers, office spaces, and more. There is so much to do that you could spend a whole day in Peckham Levels without getting bored.
One of my favorite pastimes in Peckham Levels includes bar-hopping in the open food and drink hall and sampling cuisine from the various street food-style eateries. I recommend Nandine, which dishes up hearty Kurdish grub. The halloumi wraps are scrumptious.
In the evening, head over to the Near & Far bar. The venue is ideal for discovering quirky cocktails and funky DJs on Fridays and Saturdays.
