Verdura & Brasa is what I call a democratic restaurant, and it is the most democratic restaurant in the Oter Group. And why democratic? Because they have dishes for all preferences, and you, if you are a vegetarian/vegan —or the people you eat with— will be able to choose from many options and not just a few dishes. Nevertheless, despite its name, Vegetable & Grill is not a vegetarian restaurant.
At Verdura & Brasa they cook vegetables so incredibly well that, if you are a meat-eater and you take my advice, you should forget about meat or fish for a day and ask for only vegetables. I did not do it on my first visit, and I regretted it, they prepare the vegetables so well that they taste heavenly. Their meat and fish dishes are exceptional, but in a few places they do prepare the vegetables as well as here.
The braised cauliflower and the beetroot are delicious, but the grilled fennel… oh, the grilled fennel! Probably my three favourite dishes. Like all the restaurants in the Oter Group, the decoration and atmosphere are well cared for, and the attention from the waiters is wonderful.
The Oter Group is a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the oldest gastronomic association in the world, guaranteeing its excellence.
