If you’re looking for a relaxing afternoon with a creative element to spend your time in Malmö, I might just have the place for you. You can book it on their website, give them a call or pop in if it’s just a spur-of-the-moment thing and you can enter the kingdom of ceramic decoration. The only limit to what you can do is your imagination. First, you grab a dish: you can select anything between mugs, plates and vases. Then you get inspired and start decorating.
If you’re like me - not a very skilled artist - you can sketch what you want to draw first with a pencil; it will disappear once the dish gets into the oven. Then, of course, you can start painting - there are some stamps to choose from and plenty of different colours.
You don’t have to worry about messing up your clothes because you’re given a fancy apron for protection - a life-saver for a klutz like me. You can also use a very handy stand with a round moving platform, this is very useful especially when you’re working with vases or mugs. Of course, you can always go alone but these kinds of things are more fun in the company of a good buddy. You can chat while you’re working, laugh or just chill to the music in the background. There is also a selection of teas and coffees if you’re thirsty and even a small snack if you’re feeling peckish for a Swedish fika.
