Malmö Konsthall, located only a few steps away from Triangeln train station, is the answer if you have an acute need to look at art. Its central location and free entrance make it a perfect spot for a quick visit, but you can easily spend a whole afternoon there enjoying the aesthetics and spaciousness of the gallery rooms. I often head to Konsthall just to have a quiet moment on my own, because this place has a special, tranquil atmosphere.
You can also prolong your visit in the gallery shop, which offers a wide selection of art books, zines, posters and cards. The restaurant and café Smak, located in the same building, is also worth recommending for lunch or drinks. The gallery complex has also a nice green patio, which is a true hidden gem in the city.
Check out the museum’s website for further information about future exhibitions and special programs.
