One of my favorite things about Narvarte is the abundance of coffee –and snacks– spots. Every café in Narvarte emits a unique atmosphere that helps construct the essence of this neighborhood. Buen Día Pan y Café is a perfect place to have brunch, afternoon coffee or just order to go. Everything they have to offer is delicious; they even make their own sourdough that they use for every recipe that requires it. I visit Buen Día Pan y Café almost every time I go to the mercado 22 de abril (which is right across from it). So if you are staying in Narvarte and are planning on shopping for a "home-cooked" meal and go to the mercado, be sure to visit them and enjoy the comforting food and space.
Buen Día Pan y Café also has the best golden milk (a powder mix of turmeric and other spices) in the neighborhood. If you, like me, cannot get enough of this milk, you can also purchase the mix to prepare at home. The staff at Buen Día always receive you with a smile and as I discovered not long ago. They are also pet-friendly and if you're lucky they may even gift some snacks to your furry companion.
