Café Pennsylvania Mexico City – A well kept secret

Coffee & tea
""Café Pennsylvania" in Mexico City is a disceet, hidden cafe with a cool owner! It's silent, cozy, beautiful-- reminds me of a living room. Cool music too."

I often walk through Pennsylvania Street, a beautiful road next to the park.  I've just realized the existence of  this place. Café Pennsylvania is a discreet and hidden coffee shop inside an apartment. It's located on the ground floor of an old building.

When I got there, I felt as if if I had trespassed private property, but suddenly the owner appeared and said "hi", then she offered me a cup of tea and dessert. I ordered a chai latte and a chocolate cookie and they were both great.

The place silent, cozy and beautiful. The furniture reminds me of a regular apartment. So in a weird way it, makes me feel at home.

The music is great. I shazamed almost all the songs I listened there. I keep on listening to a lot of them.

The bad news: it closes at 16:00 and it's closed on Monday. Get there early and bring your ears wide open.
