This ice cream bar is paradise for any sweets lover out there.
With a topping bar full of deliciousness like cookies, cerals, and one of the Mexican favorite sweets Conejito -a milk chocolate bunny- Ice Cream Nation is one of the trendiest ice cream shops in the city.
What makes Ice Cream Nation stand out is the on-site nitrogen blenders, in which ice cream is prepared to the taste of every customer. The menu is really wide, offering different ice cream flavors as well as vegan options, milkshakes and sorbets.
After you choose your ice cream flavor, you can choose any topping you like (for an extra fee except for an Eggo waffle they set as a tasty pillow for the ice cream) and enjoy your towering treat.
For me, the best thing about nitrogen is that it yields an incredibly soft ice cream making it the perfect treat for an afternoon out, if you can get one, that is. The queues on weekend afternoons could take up to an hour of waiting as every ice cream takes about 6 minutes to prepare. My suggestion is to visit the shop either before lunch time (because life is too short to have dessert last) or on weekdays, where chances are you are the only one ordering.
Outside the shop, there's a terrace with few tables, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a great ice cream while having a lovely view of a park.
