This casual local spot in Roma is known for its fish and seafood. The concept of this restaurant is to rescue the pre-hispanic cooking technique called "zarandeado" which is about shaking the food inside a kind of metal mitten known as "zaranda" over coal - this way the food gets a unique smoked taste and makes you feel as if you were eating it in the coast of the Pacific Ocean.
I definitely recommend trying the ribeye chicharron, the grilled cheese, grilled corn and the octopus wings. They also serve up high-quality mezcal, tequila and cocktails prepared with local and unique ingredients like zapote, mint, pineapple, tamarind and cactus.
This unique place offers live music and there is always a great vibe! It's a great place to meet travelers and residents. During the weekend is almost impossible to get a table without waiting an hour or so, so make sure you make a reservation.
