Nomu is located in the neighborhood of Polanco on a small and beautiful street. This place used to be called Theodor Tea House but the name and concept changed some time ago. There’s a huge variety of teas, as well as preparation methods: cold, milky or natural. Nomu shares their menu and terrace with Café Toscano, a casual Italian restaurant.

What I like the best about Nomu is the backyard; it’s like the best kept secret of the neighborhood. You just need to open the backdoor to enjoy a peaceful place to drink your tea. There you can meet the pets of the place: two old and angry cats. They own the place, but after some minutes they get used to you.

My favorite drink is matcha tea with milk, but there you can choose among many others. It might sound weird but I suggest you visit Nomu’s bathroom: it’s absolutely well-decorated and its mirror is a perfect spot to take a nice and original photo.
