There's a place in the Porta Venezia district where you can enjoy a tasty Middle Eastern dinner in a relaxing and easy-going atmosphere: welcome to Milan's NUN, the perfect street food deli to grab a yummy bite.
An exception among the dozens unexceptional kebab shops in Milan, NUN has been serving gourmet wraps in a neat atmosphere since 2013. There are a few recommended combos on the menù, but the cool part is you'll be able to customize your lunch and choose your favorite kind of bread (piadina, pita, wheat or white...), filling (kebab and falafel are the most popular), sauces and toppings; add chips or salad and a drink and there you have it.
Offering a “taste of Middle East”, NUN serves the typical street food of Lebanon, Israel and so on, such as the exquisite babaganoush and the tasty shirazi salad. A big plus, NUN has an eye for healthy ingredients and offers many vegan/vegetarian options: I am a huge fan of Greek/ Cypriot halloumi cheese, so I'll always pick that for my wrap. The food is so delicious that there's a good chance you'll have to go back and place a second order: at least that's what happens to me every time I eat there.
Even if the service is fast and the food is served in a basket, don't call NUN a fast food. Your wrap will be made by lovely people with the freshest ingredients and, most importantly, with care.
