When fall hits and the weather is crisp, I instantly start craving ramen. Ramen is not only my comfort food but also a dish that instantly transports me into a different culture. Milan is full of Japanese restaurants, but the authentic ramen selection is more limited. This place offers great ramen and some simple Japanese dishes in a very casual and relaxed atmosphere. More than a restaurant it has the feel of a small bodega with limited tables in side and some tables outside.
Please note that you cannot reserve or book a table and it can get pretty busy during peak hours. For a party of two, the wait isn't too bad, but maybe this isn't the ideal place for a large group. The ramen options are great, and the food is good and at an affordable price, especially for Milan standards. This place is also conveniently located near the busy shopping street Corso Buenos Aires and the lovely Parco Palestro. FYI- This place only serves beer (no wine).
