For the last few years, Moscow has been obsessed with burgers. Every week, a new burger joint pops up: some are average, some are decent, a few are really good. Burger Heroes is definitely one of the best.
They now have a few locations around the city. The original one is always swarming; the one at Maroseyka, however, is just as great, but less crowded. That might be due to the fact that it has opened fairly recently, or because it's kind of tucked away above a vegetarian restaurant (oh, the irony!).
Burgers are big and deliciously juicy: no nonsense, all flavor. They don't stop there, though: these guys strive to bring a variety of component combinations perfectly balanced out to complement the bun and patty duo. So, every burger means the new flavor experience, even if it's the same beef patty. I'm particularly partial to the Black Mamba burger (with bacon and cherry), while my friends tend to favor Baron DuPont (with blue cheese and cream cheese).
They usually have a number of beers on offer, including something sweet and fruity, like cherry Kriek, if that's your thing (or you're just tired of washing down your burger with IPA).
