This is a place for men's talk and a pretty nice bar to have a drink tonight! It used to be my favorite one, now it's just on the list, but still a place with a lot of memories. Though it's situated just opposite the Belyy Dom (the White House, or officially The House of the Government of the Russian Federation) and tends to be a place where movers and shakers discuss real issues, the café appears to be cheap, stylish (for my taste) and with guru barmen.
I discovered this place in 2007 (I was in my 1st year of university) and surprisingly this cafe still exists (quite untypical for Moscow actually).
The interior is soft with warm light, though it may seem a little dark with the wooden furniture and monochrome photos on the walls. This spot is surely for talking purposes or for celebrating anything sitting around the table - don't expect to see wild dancing here all night long.
The menu is simple but tasty - whatever you order, either the Ceasar's salad (it is called Brut here), a burger or pasta, you won't be hungry after having it. What grabbed my attention was the cocktail menu - I swear I've never tried a better Long Island. For the risk-takers among you, they serve 'Rocket fuel' - after one glass of this cocktail you'll have the courage to become the next Gagarin.
"RAoS Viewpoint" isn't the highest or most spectacular in Moscow, but the views you get here are definitely the most Instagram-worthy...
