One of the best places with rather pricey food for real gourmands in Moscow. It has a taiga atmosphere with pines and bears around (with one of them sitting at the table).
This restaurant is a class of its own. Everything is tight-knit here. Small traveler's things, including an ME-2 polar helicopter, are on display. I spent a lot of time scanning the interior and the highlighted glass floor with the flashy river.
Approximately one hour later I heard musical instruments from a small band cruising between the tables; the vocals were beautiful and I recognized the most popular Russian traveler songs. So awesome! It was as though I was in a tent in the forest with my family.
The food should be described separately. It's incredible. "Stroganina "Yakut style" and sea scallop or reindeer "Stroganina". Ukha (clear Russian soup, made from various types of fish) with Baikal's omul, muksun and burbot liver, served with a shot of homemade liqueur "Hrenovukha" (made from root horseradish), etc. EVERYTHING is just heavenly.
N.B.: 1) Business lunch is much cheaper compared to the same courses from the menu.
2) Check the store underground. It is full of amazing things (funny t-shirts, jewels, chinchilla toys, fur coats. This is the only place where I buy chewing gum from natural resin.
3) Live music after 19:00.
