This small park is situated near the Novodevichy Convent. It is the Novodevichy Ponds Park. For me this park is the most beautiful park of the city. The park consists of two ponds, Big and Small. Around it you can find cozy paths and benches, weeping willows hanging over the ponds and ducks slowly gliding on the water's surface. This place is full of tranquility, peace and harmony. Perhaps, it has an influence of the Novodevichy Convent, over which there are picturesque views from the park.
Novodevichy Ponds Park is the best place to remain in privacy, to be soaked in thoughts, to sit down on a bench, to admire monastery towers and a sunset. In my opinion, this place is perfect for photoshoots! And as it seems to me that romantic atmosphere reigns around a pond. So, if someone looks for a romantic place to walk peacefully with their darling or just to keep silent, think and philosophize, I recommend Novodevichy Ponds Park. For me there is no better place to listen to the mind and soul.
