I have chosen a very interesting place to begin with, the Convent of St. Agnes of Bohemia in the very heart of Prague. In Czech, it is called Anežský klášter, and the name was given to it after Agnes the Premyslid, who founded this convent around the 1230s. The convent is one of the oldest Gothic structures in Prague, and it used to serve as a site for royal coronations and burials.
You can have a guided tour around the place or walk through it yourself. Another option is to visit one of the exhibitions, as the convent is part of the National Gallery Prague. A very special place within the convent is the sculpture gardens, where you will find almost 20 sculptures by contemporary Czech artists.
There are also some very rare apple trees, and If you are lucky, tasting the little apples in autumn is a blast. In the middle of the convent, there is also a beautiful foodie spot called Anežka, with great brunch options or a coffee and cake kind of afternoon.
