Let’s be honest, it’s hard to beat a good bread or pastry. And it is lovely to see how the artisanal bakeries landscape in Prague has been changing for even better in the past 6 years, following a worldwide trend. One of my favourites is still Artic Bakehouse with its Icelandic baking tradition.
You can find pretty much everything in there, from savory delights such as sourdough breads, bagels, baguettes, croissants and down-to-earth sandwiches to mouthwatering sweet pastries as cinnamon rolls, pistachio cookies, danish and my all-time favorite blackcurrant scone with milk chocolate.
They have 5 different shops around Prague’s city center, so it won’t be hard to come across one of them. Trust me, just go in to check it out, you can thank me later.
