Manifesto is a new concept of “container village” — a place created by multiple units (27 containers) which can be quickly reassigned to a different function. It was built in 2018 in a place where you would normally have no reason to visit – just under a highway overpass. It is an architecturally pleasing place designed with the vision that people should come, share food and drink and socialize.
It is a cashless market – so if you want to get anything here, forget the banknotes and coins, the only thing accepted here is “plastic”. Manifesto’s pride is the selection of international food concepts – from Fiji through Mexico to the Czech Republic. And it there is not only food to be found here: you may experience various cultural events — music, dance, workshops and classes — or shop for small artistic creations.
In the cold weather, you can find here transparent plastic “igloos” where you can drink your hot wine and watch people not as lucky as you who have their place inside and suffering in the cold rain outside.
My favorite was to watching the new concept of making “rolled ice cream”; however, watching the process was more interesting than tasting the result.
