When you imagine fast food it probably wouldn’t be anything delightful. Pasta Krusta is different. It’s fast food, but pretty much enjoyable.
Pasta Krusta is very well located in the very center of Prague, just a few steps from Václavské náměstí. However the main advantage compared to many other fast foods lies in the fact that they simply do things properly.
Although it's really in the center the prices are not too high and the pasta is just delicious. Moreover you don’t really feel like you're in a fast food spot, actually the only connection with fast food is that the meal is prepared in a few minutes. By minutes I mean you are waiting near the counter while watching your pasta being prepared.
The interior is designed so that the kitchen and place where you are ordering is downstairs and tables with herbs and olive oil on it are upstairs and are always clean.
You can choose which kind of homemade pasta you want and what sauce you'd like on it. I always go for Zucchini e pancetta and it's just brilliant.
It’s not only about pasta, usually in their daily menu you'll find some risotto, soup or other Italian specialties. And if you feel like, you can buy one of their ingredients and make your pasta at home.
Funny fact is that Pasta Krusta is just a few meters from McDonald's, but when I’m in that area I'd rather go for yummy Italian food. Sorry, Ronald McDonald.
