About half of the Prague area is covered by lush greeneries and parks. There are several options to unwind, to have a picnic or to chill out. One of the greatest spots in this green city is definitely Riegrovy Sady. Located in the trendy neighborhood of Vinohrady, this park is a local’s favorite not only for its beer gardens, but especially because of the sunset view you can have at it, with Prague Castle and all the old town in front of you. Believe me, it’s gorgeous!
It is a quite easy-going place, where you can bring your own food and drinks, or grab something at either the hidden-between-the-bushes Mlíkárna (which sometimes has DJs playing in its garden), at Riegrovy Sady beer garden or at Containall. But you also have plenty of other options because the park is located very conveniently around dozens of nice and cool restaurants and coffee shops.
Be aware that it can get quite busy with locals, especially in the spring and in the summertime. Don’t be afraid, you can certainly still find a spot to admire the beauty of Prague.
