This cafe is definitely a unique but little-known place in Prishtina. The owners are a very friendly and creative couple whose main aim is to promote bicycle usage as a daily transportation vehicle which would result in fewer traffic jams, lower air pollution, a cheap transportation option and a healthy lifestyle. In this city, we really suffer from traffic as there are too many cars and the air pollution is one of the major problems, especially in the winter. I loved this idea for a cafe they came up with to start a change in the city. I remember that I was shocked to see that many cyclists in the city when I saw them coming together there early one morning. They organize cycling events to increase public awareness by riding in the streets and making the drivers get used to sharing the roads with cyclists.
Apart from their inspiring mission, I like both the interior design and outdoor seating. There are bikes, bike-themed photos and framed motivational quotes hanging on the walls. With wooden furniture, it feels warm and peaceful. They serve fresh croissants, homemade sandwiches, cakes, fresh juice, coffee, tea and beer. I try to catch their happy hours in the evenings.
It is also a cat-friendly place. They have made a cat house and put it on the corner of the outdoor seating.
