Situated a short walk from two famed Riga churches and right next door to an Ezītis Miglā - another beloved Latvian bar and eatery - MiiT Coffee had the tough task of standing out amongst such a popular crowd. Though like many other locations, the vibrant, studious, and relaxing environment that the cafe was able to create has made it a hotspot for both students, looking for a sleek place to revise on their laptops, and vegans and/or vegetarians, charmed by the cafe's inclusive, delicious and ever-changing daily menu.
Lunch offers here cannot go unnoticed, offering both a reasonable price and an exciting array of soups, dishes, and sweets that you didn't even know you wanted to try. The last time I was there mushroom soļanka had been on offer, and believe me when I say that I had never tried soļanka with mushrooms, and now it's become something I want to try again and again. And if you aren't looking for an affordable, vegan/vegetarian lunch, you can simply grab a hot drink and take a break from the active city life around you.
Make sure to give MiiT Coffee a try next time you are sightseeing across the city center. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
