I am a girl who likes beers. I like pubs, too. Rijeka wasn’t well known as a pub city, but lately this has changed. At the moment, I have two favorite pubs in Rijeka and one of it is Harat’s Irish Pub. Harat’s is located at a spot I would call “a spot with bad luck“ because several restaurants/bars opened and closed in a short period of time. I think Harat’s will definitely change that destiny.

The interior is well designed and the pub has a nice terrace. When you walk into it, make sure you look underneath you while walking; there may be guys under the glass floor who may want to say “hi” to you! The waiters are young and very charming as well.

Harat’s has many kind of beers. I’ll mention their draft Guinness and the many kinds of whiskeys. If you are hungry, you can try their burgers, fish&chips and other kinds of food you can usually find in pubs. Also, they serve marende daily till 5 pm. It’s like brunch for working people, but everyone can order it of course. Every day they serve one or two different daily “marenda”. Harat’s has special daily offers for beers, burgers or whiskey. For example, every Tuesday, burgers are 10 kuna cheaper. Like every Irish pub, Harat’s has some TVs so you can watch sports. On weekends you can enjoy live music. I can’t forget to mention that you can pay with card.

To me, Harat’s definitely feels like home.
