What's in a name? In this case, everything: The Beertija, a lively bar located in Trsat neighbourhood, is one of Rijeka's leading destinations for beer lovers. Calling their menu a wide selection would be an understatement, as they currently have over 250 beers on the list. Their next goal? Reaching the coveted 300 mark!
The Beertija is best described as a mix of a rock bar and a pub, with two large open patios enveloped in greenery. The overall vibe is relaxed and informal, a perfect place to watch a football game or enjoy some live music. It's heavily frequented by college students, as the bar is located a short walk from the university and the student campus.
There's also a club in the basement - conveniently named Klub - to get you through the winter, and a hostel on the first floor that certainly comes in handy if you get a bit carried away with that wide selection mentioned above. If you need help narrowing down the choices, the friendly staff is always happy to recommend a thing or two.
