The latest studies say that Rijeka has more rainy days than London. You don't believe me? Well, take your umbrella AND sunglasses with you, trust me. If you have decided to visit Rijeka for two or more days, 99% of the time, I guarantee you, it will rain. So, what to do while it's raining? Do sports. Sport center Out is always in. You have to make a reservation. It is good to call them a day before or on the same day. They are opening at 15:00.
You can choose between badminton, squash and football. For squash it's 80 kn/hour. You don't have equipment for squash or badminton? No problem. You can rent it. You only need to have sportswear. After an hour or two of sweating, you can also take a shower there or even a beer in cafe bar "Out".
During summertime, 10 minutes walking to Grčevo beach you will find your little piece of heaven. At Pajol Bar you can immediately charge your batteries with a drink and enjoy the suntanning.
