There are people that like beer and there are other people that really can’t get enough of it (guilty as charged). For us, the care that Belgium puts into beers is mostly a godsend. Also in Rotterdam we have a small spot to enjoy all the classics of a lovely beer space. The “Belgium Beer Cafe Boudewijn” – full name in Dutch – offers obviously an extensive menu with all different kinds of bottled beer. Outside, on their terrace, you can also see the list of the ones they have on tap every day.

However, what has really captured my heart is their bar food. Many of the plates that they prepare everyday are beer-based or perfect to be combined with one of their multiple beverage options. Don’t miss the mussels, the fish and chips and, of course, their extravagant fries platters covered with meat.

For those who won’t or can’t drink: good non-alcoholic options are also available.
