The owner of the pub is passionate about beer, and you are the one to benefit from it. He owns two other bars and they are also specialized in beer: Belgian beer cafe Boudewijn and Tasting Room Reijngoud.
This pub is great if you want to have some good conversations in the sun, enjoying a specialty beer and having a good laugh with some locals.
At this pub you will be glad to discover that they have a grill outside where they make their famous crispy spicy fried chicken burger, spareribs, hotdogs and even wood-oven pizza.
If your preference is more of a vegetarian character, you will do well to order the falafel burger or the vegan smoked wurst.
Every once in a while they invite a few bands and turn this part of Vijverhofstraat into a joyful fiesta. This was the case at their opening and it was a fantastic evening.
Beer has earned the reputation of mood booster and friends-maker; music only enhances that superpower.
If you go there, don't miss the chance to order Balcony Rhapsody and their Mexican fries - who knows, maybe you'll discover, as a result of this combination, a superpower you were not aware of.
