When I still lived at my parents' house I was surrounded by cats. Every sad or grumpy mood was chased away by those little balls of fur. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to them when I moved out of the house. A cramped third floor apartment isn’t the ideal environment for cats.
In 2016 a new place opened where I could get my much needed dose of cats: a cat cafe. Pebbles Kitty Cat Café was founded through the help of a crowdfunding campaign. It is a place where you could go to for a cup of coffee and tea or to have a small lunch while you’re surrounded by 8 cats. Right, who wouldn’t want that?! You’ll pay a small fee to enter the café (2.50€), but you can stay for as long as you like.
All the cats are adopted from the animal shelter and you can pet/play with them as much as you like. Or just watch them sleep, since that is probably a cat’s favorite activity. The cats have a separate room were they can stay if they want to slip away from the attention. To make sure the cats are treated in the right way by the guests, Pebbles Kitty Cat Café does have some house rules. Make sure to read them! You could just walk in and ask for a table, but to prevent dismay you can make an appointment via the website.
