Ayla is the perfect meeting location to catch up with friends over drinks and exquisite tapas.
The music is great but non-invasive. You will still be able to have a conversation.
Every once in a while they invite a DJ and then the place turns into a dance party. Better leave that conversation for another occasion. Just vibe with the atmosphere!
If you're with a group, you can occupy the long high tables and if you are with just 2 or 3 people you can be comfortably seated at one of the low tables which is not to say that service will be lower. The service is impeccable, each of the waiters can recommend you a good wine to combine with your dinner - not predictably, but surprisingly so! They can as well discreetly assist you to select a tapas combination to share with your partner in degustation.
They have a nice selection of Spanish cheeses you will most likely not resist indulging in. The platter might seem small at a first glance, but wait until you get hit with the richness of taste. You will close your eyes from intense pleasure.
The wines are gorgeous and you can also opt for a vermouth, if that's your thing.
It's conveniently located a few minutes walking from Central Station, so it's easy to reach even from out of town.
A great bar both for weekdays and weekends. Plus there are seats outside on a sunny terrace that are very popular in the warm season.
