Zwembad Rijnhaven is a unique outdoor swimming spot in Rotterdam. It is located between Kop van Zuid and Katendrecht, right next to the restaurant Putaine. It offers a refreshing escape in the middle of the city, with designated swimming areas marked by ladders for quick access to the water.
For daredevils, jumping into the water from the quay is an option. The surrounding platforms and steps are perfect for laying out belongings (but keep an eye on them) or enjoying a summer picnic. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with a mix of young and old enjoying the water and sunshine together.
Stay until the evening to witness the stunning sunset over the harbour, making a swim at Zwembad Rijnhaven even more special. It’s a must-visit on a warm day in Rotterdam!
