I happen to be a sport fan, especially football. I've always wondered when I was on vacation how cool it could be to play football with some local guys. Forward is place where you can join locals playing football every weekend.
The location is quite surprising: three quite old buildings form natural walls (on photo) and a tall net separate the field from the sidewalk. I was surprised when I first spotted this place, it was quite unexpected to discover a football field in the middle of a street with 100-year old buildings.
You can have a great Saturday perfectly planned. Play some football in the morning, take a shower and continue your sightseeing tour as your game will end in city center in heart of Dostoevsky’s Petersburg.
There are some things that are really difficult to experience on your vacation. Playing football is what true locals would do. Sport has always been a great way to have fun and meet new people. It's worth a shot.
And only one tip. You should sign up every Wednesday at 12:00 (a message would be enough).
