Another cosy craft bar has found its place on an unusual street. This street is full of embassies (consulates to be specific), that’s why your visit to a bar can be something out of the ordinary – you’ll grab a beer among foreign territories.
I’ve been to many craft bars in Saint Petersburg but this place can give me a really hard time with “hard to choose”. They have 33 taps and one beer is better than the other (not to mention bottled beer). I especially like the idea that behind every tap there is a portrait in black and white of some famous figure from cinema or politics or whatever can better describe the identity of each drink. What would you prefer? Joseph Stalin beer or Sheldon Cooper or maybe apple cider from Isaac Newton?
The food is a special topic. The menu offers a wide choice of snacks and main courses. The owners have brought many good ideas to life for vegetarians as well. My personal favorite is the hot wings with toppings.
The name of the bar means ‘one mind is not enough’. It is taken from Dostoevsky’s novel “Crime and Punishment”. Grab not only your mind but your spirit as well and have a good time.
