Nobody likes going to the doctor, that’s for sure. However, I have found the silver lining. Post doc visits, I have found a gem of a location near my doctor's office that houses a plethora of scrumptious eats. In the Mission Bay neighborhood, there is a sliver of a panhandle that is appropriately placed in the middle of several modern apartments and medical facilities. The spot is called Park Lab Gardens. Here you will find a playful food truck land! From a beer and Sangria garden, mini-golf, old western town section; there is absolutely something for anyone here.
I have visited one truck in particular a handful of times. You must try SPRO Coffee Lab. What makes this place special is their specialty crafted coffee drinks and their artisanal goods using advanced techniques in culinary food service. For example, have you ever had a Japanese Blueberry Mochi waffle? Or an Orange Blossom Coffee beverage with organic honey and milk? This is what I’m talking about people! This is a gem of a spot. I’m still dreaming about their Spice Islands coffee beverage, which contains ritual dark chocolate, cinnamon, cayenne, nutmeg, vanilla, and milk. Pair it up with their savory breakfast sandwich that has egg, prosciutto, herb schmear, and greens all on a toasted buttery bagel. Is your mouth watering yet? Cus mine is.
Like I said, going to the doctor's office just got that much better, especially when you have Spro Coffee Lab to look forward to after.
