I must be honest. I gave much thought to whether I would publish this post. I did not publish it simply because I did not want too many people to know it and run the risk of spoiling it.
After much thought, I realised two things:
1. I was being selfish, and good things should be shared;
2. Good things are good things, and what makes Pizzeria Paolo good won't change just because a few more people get to know it. :)
So here we go. Pizzeria Paolo is my favourite Italian restaurant in Frankfurt. There, I said it. First, the service is as nice as it can be. The waiters are welcoming and polite, and by the second time you go there, they already recognise you and treat you as if they have known you for ages. At Paolo, you are not a client - you are a guest.
The ingredients are fresh and tasty, and dishes are presented with attention to every detail. Take a good look at this picture: it displays a delicious Bruschetta, which is what I always end up eating. At Paolo, you will find the best pizza in Frankfurt (certified with an Italian quality stamp). Yet, pizza and pasta are not the only specialities available. Dare to try the amazing secondos (main dishes), which vary from grilled fish to Ossobuco.
In summer, choose a table in the back yard; in winter, in the front room. Whatever the season, you will surely have an exquisite Italian experience.
