Brisket & Friends is definitely a hidden pearl: a casual and cozy place located in the southern industrial area of Ã…rsta, only 20 minutes away from the city center, perfect for a quick yet tasty lunch.
I am a big US fan and I love traveling there, it’s like being a movie, but let’s face the truth: the US is famous for many things but gourmet is not one of them. Well, Brisket & Friends fosters one of the best American culinary traditions and brings it to Stockholm. Yes, because to be precise, Brisket & Friends is a smokehouse, which offers perfect, tender and tasty smoked meat, freshly prepared every day with care and patience (the overnight cooking takes about 16 hours!)
Needless to say, the bestseller is the brisket, although pork and beef ribs are always among the first to be sold out. The meat is ordered by weight and the BBQ sauce is never missing from the tables.
You can drive-in, place your order and take away. Personally, I prefer to stay and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere: southern rock and country background music, pictures of the best American smokehouses on the wall and nice guys behind the counter will make your experience at Brisket & Friends even more authentic.
