Summer is around the corner (even on these latitudes!) and summer calls for gelato. It's a universal rule, right? So, if in Stockholm, the answer to the call is Scarfò Gelateria.
We are talking about Italian gelato made with original products from the best parts of the country, and all the best Italian traditions for gelato. The ice cream flavors may vary according to season, although the 70% dark chocolate, pistachios and liquorice is the best seller all year round.
Scarfò is also a bar selling espresso, cappuccino etc (we all know the list). Gelato cakes, pastries and takeaway gelato boxes are also available.
If you are wondering: "Is just a gelato worth a detour all the way to here?" -- yes it is. The neighborhood around the gelateria is a lovely (yet a bit fancy) part of Bromma district: the residential area looks like a "little Malibu" with its location by the water and the architectural style of the houses. You can grab a gelato and have a lovely walk through the pine forest by the water, and maybe stop by and have a bath at Solviksbadet beach. It's summer after all.
