Tbilisi has its own secrets and most of them are hidden in the entrance halls of its old districts. Going down Lado Asatiani street, before you arrive to Puri Square, just turn right and you’ll end up on Betlemi street. Again on your right side you’ll see an amazing house that is decorated with colorful stained glass windows. This is the only one house in Tbilisi decorated like this. And it’s really awesome.
Seeing this spot is a must for those who love architecture, art and photography. Yes, it’s beautiful but I must mention that every time I enter I get extremely sad because of its collapsed parts.
As for its history, we don’t know exactly who the owner of this amazing house was, but they say it was the property of the Jewish Community.
I always prefer going there during the daytime, especially when it’s sunny, because the sun makes those stained glasses shine in a marvelous way.
