Strolling up and down the Prins Hendrikstraat is a must during your visit to The Hague. From independent shops to cute cafés, from beautiful buildings to lush green squares — a lot that makes The Hague such a uniquely beautiful place can be seen here. On Prins Hendrikstraat you’ll find a second-hand store called Achtung! Lady. The atmosphere is calm, the staff are relaxed yet always happy to help and the items you can score there are always of great quality (either from a known higher-end brand or of fair-trade origin).
Brands like American Vintage, Levi’s, Sessun, Sezane or Sissy boy seem to be “regulars” in the store. I like the clean and clear layout of the store and their denim section. Achtung! Lady always has a shelf full of Levi’s vintage jeans in many styles and sizes, so if you’re still looking for your perfect 501s, make sure to pop by — you won’t be disappointed. You might also want to check out Achtung! Lady on Instagram for new items, sales or general info.
Good to know: There is a sister branch called Achtung! Baby about 200 m further east on Prinshendrikstraat. If you have kids or would like to shop for cute and stylish kids’ clothes, make sure to check it out at Prins Hendrikstraat 97.
