Gastropub of my dreams
When you are in the mood for some tasty pubfood, Van Kinsbergen is the place to go. Located on the beautiful Prins Hendrikplein, this new The Hague gem has stolen my heart. They are some of the lucky few who have obtained a piece of the square for their terrace, which is especially convenient during the sunny spring or summer days.
I love it when I look at a menu and there’s simply too many great dishes to choose from. That is exactly what happens when you go to Van Kinsbergen. During my first visit I opted for the Guinness Beef Stew and I certainly did not regret my decision. Besides very tasty food, they also offer quite some cocktails and their selection of beers is simply impressive. What I like specifically is the variety of these beers, they’re from all over the world, but they have also included some great locally/regionally brewed options. And a bit of exciting news never hurt anybody: their own in-house brewery will soon be up and running!
